Know Your Authority, use it in Jesus' Name Hosea 4:6 – my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. “Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children. Some situation (like the attacks of the enemy) that effect us totally helpless and powerless. If you have the knowledge, you will be saved. God has given us the authority we need to overcome the things that stop us. In Luke 10:19 Jesus assures us “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you“. We have been given authority in Jesus’ name, which gives us power over satan. Stop fighting with the people who troubles you and start fighting the “spiritual forces of evil” that are the source of the trouble. And in Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. And also see in Mark 16:17 “And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues;” Stand in faith and continue to speak what God has said about what you’re facing. If you shift and begin to agree with the enemy because of what you see or hear, you give him the power to remain in place. All believers have authority and it should operate in order to bring God’s power and rulership into earthly situations. The key to walking in God-given authority is being in close fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
